Visitor in Red

Intense red flowers fill the frame, and at the centre of one of them a small insect rests. That presence was not staged — it is the moment that made the picture. The red here is very close to the red that recurs in the paintings, and this is one of the points where Zvi Aharon's photography and painting touch. Here too there is no processing or alteration of the scene, only the choice of a moment.
