Drops on Purple

An open purple flower, and beneath it a chain of hanging water droplets catching the light. The photograph concentrates on the meeting between the soft colour of the petals and the hard shine of the drops. The green background stays blurred and serves only as a field of colour. It is a quiet photograph that asks the viewer to linger on one small detail instead of a whole landscape.
